From immigration to your hotel door — a step-by-step guide to your first hour in Saudi Arabia.
Landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is the start of your Umrah journey. Here is what happens next.
1. Immigration and baggage
Allow 45–90 minutes for immigration and baggage collection, longer in Ramadan. Keep your passport, visa and hotel details ready.
2. Meeting your driver
Your driver tracks your flight and waits at arrivals with a name board. If you can't see them, message us on WhatsApp and we connect you within minutes.
3. The drive to Makkah
The drive is about 100 km and takes around 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Many pilgrims enter Makkah already in Ihram and head to the Haram for Umrah soon after check-in.
Tips
- Share your flight number when booking.
- Keep a small bag with Ihram, medicine and chargers in your hand luggage.
- Drink water and rest before Umrah if you arrive tired.
